Drama as MP Waluke rains kicks on MP
A section of residents in Sirisia constituency in Bungoma have accused area MP John Waluke for practicing politics of hooliganism. This comes shortly after the MP attacked Lwandányi MCA Tony Barasa at a burial ceremony. According to the MCA, the MP attacked him with kicks and blows.
Speaking to Weekly Citizen, the MCA said he was unable to defend himself against a former military officer, thus forced to endure the assault.

“Waluke who self-proclaims to be the mighty king of goons” and the “professor of insults,” left after fulfilling his intent, leaving me feeling humiliated in front of my people,” said the MCA.
The MCA was immediately
rushed to Sirisia Level 4 Hospital, where he received treatment and was discharged. According to Barasa, this is not the first instance of such behaviour by Waluke. He added that many political aspirants in Sirisia constituency suffer in silence
from Waluke bullying tactics, and numerous assault cases, including incidents at Namang’ofulo Secondary School.
The MCA has called upon police to apprehend the MP and have him prosecuted.
